Our team is extremely passionate about this problem because it strikes close to home.

Hannah’s father and grandparents both have type 2 diabetes. After Hannah’s grandfather passed away from hypoglycemia, she grew to learn the importance of compliance with diabetes treatments. She has also been inspired by her father’s ability to treat his disease through exercise and a healthy diet.

Aaron was diagnosed with Human Growth Hormone Deficiency as a child and had to receive daily injections for four years. This has given him an immense amount of empathy for children living with type 1 diabetes. He knows how traumatizing injections can be as a child and can only imagine the scale on which young children must endure such procedures.

Andrew has lived with type 1 diabetes since he was 7. He is passionate about harnessing technology to better the lives of those living with type 1 diabetes.
